The authorities in Indian administered Kashmir say six policemen were killed in a bomb blast at Zarigund in Anantnag district.

Police said separatist rebels detonated the bomb while the police vehicle was crossing a wooden bridge.

Correspondents say this is the fourth bomb attack in the district in the past week.
