Argentina airforce suspected of spying

The Argentine airforce has suspended two officers after accusations in the Argentine press that they were spying on journalists and a feminist organization.

The two men, an airforce general brigadier and a captain comodoro are alleged to have investigated the work journalists were carrying out into security at Argentina's airports and their privatisation.

The feminist group whose activities the airforce are said to have monitored is the Movement of Women in Action Movimiento de mujeres en lucha, a group promoting the legalization of abortion in Argentina.
