Britain's Independent Television Commission has given the London-based Kurdish TV station, Med TV, six months to correct what the Commission calls "a recurrent lack of balance in political coverage".

The Commission warned Med TV that if it failed to do this, it would lose its licence.

Med TV broadcasts by satellite to ethnic Kurdish populations in Turkey, Iraq and neighbouring countries.
