Indian fishermen return from Pak jails

Officials in Delhi say about two hundred Indian fishermen, who were released by Pakistan, have arrived in Okha, in Gujarat.

The fishermen had been arrested for straying into Pakistani waters.

An Indian spokesman said Delhi had offered in return to send home nearly a-hundred and fifty Pakistani fishermen, arrested inside Indian waters.

He said that in recent talks, India and Pakistan had agreed on the immediate release of each other's fishermen, who are frequently detained after straying across the maritime boundary.
