Woman cleared of pub arson
Seven Stars pub, Ledbury
Seventy firefighters tackled the blaze in Ledbury
A former licensee of a Tudor pub, virtually destroyed by fire, has been cleared of starting the blaze deliberately.

On Tuesday, Janet Kaye, who now lives in Lancashire, was cleared of setting fire to the Seven Stars pub, in Ledbury, Herefordshire, by a jury at Hereford Crown Court.

Fire crews were called to the 16th Century pub in July last year.

The fire also spread to the neighbouring Co-op Travel shop and a clothes shop.

At its height, 70 firefighters from Hereford and Worcester were at the scene.
