Baby boy for Nepal royals
The palace says mother and baby are well
Nepalese Crown Princess Himani has given birth to a son.
The boy, who has yet to be named, was born by caeserian section at 1249 local time (0704 GMT) on Tuesday, and weighed 3.3 kilograms (7lb 9oz), a royal communique said. He is second in line to the throne after his father, Crown Prince Paras. Both mother and baby are doing well, the palace said. The royal couple already have a daughter, Princess Purnika. The birth of their second child comes little more than a year after Nepal's royal massacre, in which King Birendra, Queen Aishwarya and seven other royals were gunned down by the then Crown Prince Dipendra |
