Three people are believed to have died and fourteen were injured when a fire broke out at a munitions factory in the Portuguese capital, Lisbon.

The fire caused several explosions and it took fire fighters several hours to get the blaze under control.

Children from a nursery next door to the factory were evacuated unhurt.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
