The unification battle looked set for to the famous Madison Square Gardens in New York on March 13, but promoter Don King is said to be keeping his options open. Greg Fritz, an official with Don King Promotions, told the Toronto Star newspaper: "This is a two-horse race. The Toronto people have made an extremely attractive bid and Don is very interested in meeting these guys in person." He added: "Right now it's 60-40 in New York's favour. But that margin is narrowing to 50-50." World Boxing Council champion Lewis has already expressed his desire to fight at the Gardens, one of boxing's most historic venues. |
