Pakistan lawyers jailed

A Pakistan court has sentenced two lawyers to imprisonment for contempt following an incident in the corruption case against the former prime minister, Benazir Bhutto, and her husband.

The Lahore High Court found the lawyers - who were not representing any-one in the case - guilty of using insolent and abusive language against a senior judge.

One of the lawyers was sentenced to one month in jail and the other to four months.

They are both reported to be supporters of the opposition Pakistan Peoples' Party.
