North Korea has returned the remains of what are believed to be nine American soldiers missing from the Korean war.

The caskets were handed over at a ceremony at the truce village of Panmunjom on the military demarcation line between North and South Korea.

US forensics experts have been operating in North Korea to try to locate the remains of eight thousand Americans still unaccounted for.
