A grand jury in the United States has charged a former army intelligence analystwith spying for the former Soviet Union.
The man, David Boone, is charged with selling highly classified defence documents to the Soviet intelligence agency, the KGB, over a period of years from 1988.
The authorities said the man was arrested last month after being lured back to the United States from Germany by an FBI agent posing as a Russian spy.
