Doctors mull conjoined Egyptian twins' fate

Medical experts from the United States are due to return to Egypt to decide the fate of twins born joined at the crowns of their heads, in a remote village south of Cairo, last year.

The American doctors say separating the one-year-old twin Egyptian boys could result in death for both.

They say they'll now return to Egypt for meetings with medical and religious officials to decide what to do.

The twins have been in the North Texas Hospital for Children, in Dallas, where surgeons have been evaluating them.

The doctors say a decision is expected to be made within the month.
