Four face Brother eviction
Adele Roberts, Jade Goody, Jonny Regan and Kate Lawler
Jade, second from left, is favourite to go
Four contestants in Channel 4's reality TV show Big Brother face eviction after being nominated by fellow housemates.

The viewing public will decide who of Adele Roberts, Jonny Regan, Jade Goody and Kate Lawler will have to leave the Big Brother house.

Only Alex Sibley, PJ Ellis and Tim Culley escaped nomination and will definitely remain on the show for at least another week.

Eviction odds
Jade 1-3
Adele 3-1
Kate 16-1
Jonny 25-1
The seven contestants are competing for the £70,000 prize in the third series of the reality TV show.

Viewing figures for the programme remain high, with large numbers using text messages, interactive television and telephones to vote in the eviction contests.

The average audience for the fifth week of the series was 5.2 million viewers, a 26% share of the available audience.

Usually two contestants are nominated for eviction, but more join the line-up if there is a draw for second place.

Viewer complaints

Jade, 21, a dental nurse from London, was the least popular of the candidates, receiving six nomination votes from her housemates, while the three other nominees received two votes.

She is already the overwhelming favourite to be evicted on Friday at odds of 1-3 with official bookmaker Ladbrokes. Adele is at 3-1, Kate at 16-1 and Jonny an outside bet at 25-1.

Despite her unpopularity among viewers, Jade had not been among the most unpopular in the house before this week's nominations.

But she was recently ordered to speak to the show's psychotherapist in the "Diary Room" after viewers complained about her behaviour.

The unlucky housemate will be told of their eviction on Channel 4's live show at 2030 BST, leaving an hour to pack belongings before departure.

Adele said she had nominated Jade because "it's only a matter of time before she stabs me in the back".

Male model Alex, the hot favourite to win the competition, said he had nominated Jade because "she's trying to influence people not to nominate her".

Jade has been repeatedly warned by the show's producers not to discuss the nomination procedure.
