The Prince of Wales -- the heir to the British throne -- has praised Romania's cultural heritage during a visit to the medieval city of Sibiu, and reiterated his denunciation of the damage done to the country's national heritage under the former communist leader, Nicolae Ceausescu.
Prince Charles, who is known for his interest in architecture, first spoke out against the destruction of Romanian culture in 1989.
Romania is the second stop on an eight-day tour of south-eastern Europe.
