It found the most prominent defendant -- former President, Joseph Momoh -- guilty of conspiracy to commit treason, though not of treason itself. Fifteen civilians were convicted of treason. Sentences are expected to be passed tomorrow. Five other defendants were acquitted, including a former spokesman for the Revolutionary United Front, Jibril Massaquoi, and a cleric, Victor Ajisafi.
