Missing girl found in home town
Stacey Dixon and Ian Scott
Stacey Dixon was last seen getting into Ian Scott's car
A teenage girl who ran off with a man almost twice her age has been found after a tip-off from a member of the public.

Stacey Dixon, from Worcestershire, disappeared on 18 June at the same time as family friend, 28-year-old divorcee, Ian "Jimmy" Scott.

On Monday, West Mercia Police said the 15-year-old had been found "safe and well" at an address in her home town of Kidderminster.

A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "As a result of an anonymous telephone call from a member of the public, Stacey Louise Dixon was found safe and well.

Man questioned

"Her family are aware she is safe and well.

"Stacey is presently at Kidderminster police station as a place of safety and is being spoken to regarding the circumstances of her going missing."

He said that a man had been arrested and was helping police with their inquiries.

The teenager disappeared after telling her parents she was going on a geography field trip and would be back at her school in time for lunch.

The alarm was raised after her father, Paul Dixon, 35, went to pick her up from Harry Cheshire School and could not find her.
