The Serbian authorities have taken further action to limit the circulation of the independent press.
Police held up a lorry delivering Wednesday's edition of the newspaper, Danas, on the border with Montenegro Serbia's smaller partner in the Yugoslav federation, releasing it so late that it could not be sold in Belgrade until the evening.
The editors of Danas relocated their paper to Montenegro when it was banned in Serbia after being accused of defeatist reporting on Kosovo.
A rock concert was held in Belgrade today to support the independent Serbian media.
