Stag night reveller dies
Tom Wilkes, 21
Tom Wilkes lay undiscovered for two days
A man who fell through a warehouse roof after a stag night in Worcester has died in hospital.

Tom Wilkes, from Dudley, West Midlands, was found by a member of staff at Worcester fruit market in the city's Cromwell Street on 25 June.

The 21-year-old is believed to have lain undiscovered for two days before he was found.

A West Mercia Police spokesman confirmed that Mr Wilkes, from Dudley, had died at Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital at 1930 BST on Sunday.

Groans heard

He had been on his cousin's stag trip and was last seen leaving Tramps nightclub in the city centre in the early hours of 23 June.

Mr Wilkes was supposed to stay at the Maximillian Hotel in Worcester but became separated from the rest of the group and did not return to his room or collect his car.

He was found at the nearby fruit market by a driver who heard groaning as he arrived to pick up his lorry.

Mr Wilkes was originally taken to Worcester Royal Infirmary but later transferred to Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital with serious head injuries.
