There has been rioting in suburbs of the Zimbabwe capital, Harare, over a steep rise in the price of petrol, with riot police deployed to disperse protesters.
Vehicles were stoned and a petrol station set on fire.
The trouble followed similar unrest on Monday in Zimbabwe's second city, Bulawayo.
A BBC correspondent in Harare says the price rise follows the fall in value of the Zimbabwean dollar, partly blamed on President Mugabe's decision to send troops to intervene in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
