Men tortured before 'execution' killing

Police want to know if people saw a car like this

Two men shot in a south London house were tortured before being "executed".

The men were bound hand and foot, gagged, hooded and tortured before being shot in the head, police said.

Leroy McKain, 22, and Kevin Barrington, 33, were also stabbed and kicked at the house in Peckham last Saturday.

Police are appealing for anyone who might have seen a red Mazda MX3 car with blacked-out windows, seen in the area on the night of the murder, to come forward.

Police were called to the house at 2011 BST on Saturday after reports of a shooting.

No sign of any weapons or suspects were found by officers at the scene in Raul Road.

The Metropolitan Police's Operation Trident, which investigates shootings in the black community, is leading the inquiry.

Mr Barrington's partner laid a wreath on Friday at the scene of the shooting.
