Eleven injured in India train explosion
The authorities in the eastern Indian state of Jharkhand say at least 11 people were injured when a bomb exploded on a train.

A state railway official said the train was approaching Chandrapora state 40 kilometres for the state capital, Ranchi when the explosion occurred.

Police said the injured had been taken to hospital where one of the passengers is said to be seriously ill.

It's not clear what the motive was for the attack, but correspondents say the bomb could have been planted by a communist rebel group.
