Murder charge after street attack
Mutley Plain
Colin Beer wandered through traffic at Mutley Plain
A 25-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of a pedestrian in an alleged road rage attack a year ago.

Colin Beer, 42, was allegedly attacked as he walked in North Hill, Plymouth, Devon in June last year.

On Thursday Devon and Cornwall police said the man was in custody at the city's Charles Cross police station and is due to appear before magistrates.

Mr Beer, from Devonport, had been drinking at the Hyde Park pub in the city's Mutley district before the incident took place.

He died in hospital in Plymouth six days after the attack.
