Body identified as missing Briton
Lombok
The body was found in a ravine on Lombok
Police have confirmed that a body found at the bottom of a ravine in Indonesia is that of a 47-year-old tourist from Hampshire.

Charles Cunningham, the owner of the Wooldings Vineyard in Whitchurch, was due to return from a round-the-world holiday on 10 April.

Home Office pathologist Alan Ainsworth conducted a post-mortem examination and identified the body using dental records.

Police in Indonesia are treating the death as suspicious and have arrested one man - another man is still being sought.

Reported missing

Mr Cunningham's family last heard from him on 23 March, when he was in Bali.

When he failed to return, his mother reported him missing to Hampshire Police on 15 April.

In April, Indonesian police contacted UK authorities to say a man's body had been found with a fractured skull on the island of Lombok in March.

A spokesman for the Foreign Office said: "The latest I have is that the Indonesian police detained a man and another is wanted for questionning."
