Melbourne cup won by New Zealnd horse

One of the world's most famous horse races, the Melbourne Cup, has been won by a New Zealand trained horse, Jezabeel.

In front of a crowd of more than one-hundred-thousand people, Jezabeel fought back inside the final furlong to beat another horse from New Zealand, Champagne, by a neck.

The race, which has total prize money of more than one-and-a-half million US dollars, is one of the highlights of Australian sport.
