Arrest after 'road rage' death
Colin Beer
Mr Beer was last seen wandering through traffic
Police are questioning a man in connection with a suspected road rage death in Devon.

Colin Beer, 42, died in hospital five days after an incident in Plymouth a year ago.

The arrest came after renewed appeals for information by police earlier this month.

Mr Beer was making his way up North Hill in the city on Saturday 9 June 2001, when the incident took place.

Fractured skull

He had been drinking in some of the local pubs and was reported to have been walking through traffic while walking through Mutley Plain up to North Hill.

Police believe the driver of a passing car got out and attacked him.

Mr Beer suffered a fractured skull after falling and hitting his head.

A 25-year-old Devon man is being questioned on suspicion of murder.
