The French filgree cuff, dating from 1910, and studded with 19 carats of diamonds was among the haul taken in the raid on Moira's antique jewellers on New Bond Street.

They threatened three members of staff with a handgun and escaped with a large quantity of jewellery, thought to be worth about £100,000.

The robbers escaped in a white van which was found abandoned and burnt out later. The Robbery Squad at Barnes are investigating.

Three victims suffered shock, while an elderly man was briefly held in hospital after being pushed down a flight of stairs by the suspects.
