Virginia Wade is one of the most recognisable faces and voices in British tennis.

Winning the 1977 Wimbledon Ladies' Singles Final was the pinnacle of her long and successful career.

A summariser with the BBC's TV tennis team since 1981, she was awarded the OBE in 1986.
