A group of Chilean law makers and human rights activists has arrived in London to press their case for the continued detention of the former Chilean leader, General Augusto Pinochet.
The activists include Isabel Allende, the daughter of the former Chilean leader, Salvador Allende who was overthrown in a bloody military coup by General Pinochet.
Spain is requesting the General's extradition on charges of genocide, and the Spanish Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznaris having talks in London with his British counterpart Tony Blair.Today is the deadline for an appeal against a High Court ruling which said that General Pinochet's arrest in London was illegal
