Iranian President to visit France
The Iranian embassy in Paris says that President Mohammad Khatami of Iran is to visit France next February -- his first official trip to a European country since his election last year.
The Iranian ambassador, Ali-Reza Moayeri, was reported as saying that -- within Europe -- Iran attached special importance to its relations with France.
