Trio face attempted murder charges
Two men and a woman have been remanded in custody at Londonderry Magistrates Court on Monday on charges of attempted murder.

The charges follow an incident at Galliagh Park in the city on Saturday morning.

A man was admitted to Altnagelvin Hospital with serious head injuries.

Declan Devine, 25, of no fixed address, Kevin Conaghan, 28, also of no fixed address, and Janet Sarah Reid, 26 from Fernabbey Court were remanded in custody until 18 July.

A detective sergeant told the court both men replied "not guilty" when the charges were put to them.

Ms Reid was said to have replied: "I am very sorry. I didn't mean for it to happen."
