Schoolgirl vanishes with man
Stacey Dixon and Ian Scott
Stacey Dixon is pictured with Ian Scott
Police say they are concerned for the safety of a 15-year-old girl who has run off with a man almost twice her age.

Stacey Dixon, from Kidderminster in Worcestershire, disappeared six days ago at the same time as family friend 28-year-old Ian Scott.

She was seen getting into his car outside her school.

West Mercia Police are looking into the possibility the pair have gone to Weston-super-Mare in Somerset.

'Impressionable age'

Stacey vanished after telling her parents she was going on a geography field trip.

When her father Paul Dixon, 35, went to collect her from the Harry Cheshire School, she was not there.

A West Mercia Police spokesman said: "Mr Scott was seen there in his car and Stacey was seen in his car - and that was the last time she was seen.

"We are concerned for her safety as she is at an impressionable age."

Mr Scott, known as Jimmy, became friends with the Dixon family when he moved into his parents' home next door after his divorce.

Police said he is known to have taken caravan holidays in Weston-super-Mare in the past, and they are now investigating his links with the town.
