Man arrested after woman found dead
Forenscic detectives look for evidence at the house at which the body was found
Forenscic detectives look for evidence at the house
Police investigating the death of a woman in Barry have arrested a 43-year-old man.

The body of Karon Theresa Pugh - who was also 43 - was found at a house in Court Road in the town on Sunday morning.

Forensic police officers spent much of Sunday searching the property, just behind the Vale of Glamorgan town's police station, for evidence which might be of use in the inquiry into Ms Pugh's death.

An incident room has been set up the police station and detectives have interviewed neighbours to try and establish the events leading up to the discovery of Ms Pugh's body.

They are expected to have more information about the cause of her death once a post mortem examination has been carried out.

A neighbour told reporters: "This is a fairly quiet area and we don't get a lot of crime here because the police are on our doorstep."
