Chinese jet loses wheel

A Chinese passenger jet with more than one hundred people on board has made an emergency landing at Shanghai airport after the pilots realised it was missing a wheel.

The China Eastern Airlines jet was just twenty minutes into a flight to Osaka in Japan when the pilot asked to return.

The plane, an Airbus A300, had lost a wheel from its front landing gear.

Nobody was injured.
