    The guests on Breakfast with Frost this week were: the Europe Minister, Peter Hain, the former Conservative Cabinet Minister, Michael Portillo, Sir Bobby Robson, former England manager and David Davies, Executive Director of the Football Association, the former tennis champion, John McEnroe. The newspaper reviewers were Carol Thatcher, Frank Dobson and star of the musical "The Lion King" Ray Shell.

    Peter Hain was interviewed by Sir David follwing the the EU summit in Seville. Mr Hain insisted that the Government had not been forced to tone down proposals to impose economic sanctions on countries which failed to curb illegal migrants, despite criticism that the final deal watered down Britian's plans.

    Michael Portillo that he had felt "relieved" when he was knocked out of the Conservative leadership contest in July last year, after leading the field early in the battle.

    He explained: "I was top in the first two rounds of voting, but I didn't have nearly enough votes to feel I had the mandate I needed". Sir Bobby Robson and David Davies spoke about England's defeat in the World Cup quarter final again Brazil, but they agreed that they were proud of the England team. And with Wimbledon fortnight starting John McEnroe spoke about his predictions for future tennis champions.
