Murder inquiry after killing
Police in Northern Ireland have launched a murder inquiry after a man was found dead in County Antrim.

The 49-year-old man's body was discovered in a grassy area at Hawthorn Way in Ballyclare on Sunday morning.

It is understood it followed an earlier confrontation in the Mossvale Park area of the town shortly before 0300 BST.

A post mortem examination is to be carried out to establish how the man died.

A knife was recovered at the scene of the killing.

Police said they did not believe there was a sectarian motive behind the attack.

They are questioning a man in connection with the inquiry.

Detectives have appealed for any witnesses to contact them.
