Do we still love Spain?
scene after Fuengirola car bomb blast
The latest wave of bombings has been in tourist areas
The Foreign Office has warned British tourists to be alert for terrorist activity in Spain, after five bombs there in the past two days.

Travel journalist Alison Rice on BBC Breakfast
be as alert as you would be in London, says Rice
The bombs are the work of the Basque separatist group ETA.

They've been deliberately targetted at tourist centres such as Fuengirola and Marbella, which is a relatively new development in Spain.

But, will they put us off one of our favourite holiday destinations? Breakfast spoke to travel journalist Alison Rice.

"At the moment, the Foreign Office advice is only to be alert. So, if you cancel your package holiday, it could be very expensive," she warned.

But she thinks it is possible that last-minute holiday-makers will opt for other destinations such as Greece or Turkey, rather than Spain
