Pinochet's Wife speaks

COULD FOLLOW PINOCHET C* STORY General Pincochet's wife, Lucia Hirat Pinochet, told a news conference in London that the past few days had been very sad for her and that she hoped she and her husband would be going home soon.

She said General Pinochet's health had suffered since his arrest two weeks ago.

She also thanked those who have supported the campaign to free her husband.

The Pinochet affair is expected to be discussed when the British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, meets his Spanish counterpart, Jose Maria Aznar, on Monday
