Egypt Brotherhood arrests

The Egyptian authorities have arrested twenty-eight members of the Muslim Brotherhood for allegedly trying to revive the group's activities.

They have been accused of trying to recruit new members in various parts of Egypt.

The Brotherhood, which has publicly renounced violence, is an illegal organisation, but has been generally tolerated by the authorities in recent years.
