Two controversial new radio stations funded by the United States have begun broadcasting to Iran and Iraq.

The stations -- part of the Radio Free Europe-Radio Liberty group based in the Czech Republic -- began broadcasting in spite of objections from both the Iranian and Iraqi governments.

They have both told the Czech government that the services could harm diplomatic relations and trade links.
