In-form Richmond hungry for success

Richmond: Climbing the table

Richmond v Bedford (Sunday)

Richmond bounced back from their drubbing at Leicester to crush Sale 39-10 in midweek, a result which put them into the Premiership's top half. Rugby director John Kingston is favoured to select an unchanged side.

Bedford make two changes, both in the forwards, after their narrow home defeat by Newcastle last time out.

Prop Clem Boyd takes over from Virgil Hartland, with lock Scott Murray featuring instead of Andy Duke. Former England star Rory Underwood is again among the replacements, while flanker Jason Forster could make his last appearance before a possible move to Pontypridd.

Wasps v Harlequins (Sunday)

Wasps have still to announce their line-up but England wing Paul Sampson, who dislocated his ankle jumping off a wall in Cape Town last July, is available for selection after emerging unscathed from a second-team match on Tuesday.

Lock Andy Reed's neck injury has cleared up.

Harlequins, with successive victories over Saracens, Gloucester and West Hartlepool under their belt, make three changes. Centre David Officer replaces Johnny Ngauamo, scrum-half Nick Walshe takes over from Huw Harries and lock Garrick Morgan plays instead of Tim Collier.

West Hartlepool v Leicester (Sunday)

West Hartlepool player-coach Mike Brewer is out for three weeks with concussion, so Shaun Cassidy plays at number eight. New captain Philippe Farner takes charge for the first time, while West's replacements include fit-again Italian lock Mark Giacheri and former London Broncos rugby league player Matt Salter.

Leicester manager Dean Richards has kept faith with the side that saw off Richmond 27-0 last Saturday.

The replacements have still to be confirmed but definitely out are Pat Howard (broken jaw), Stuart Potter (back injury) and Fritz van Heerden (toe injury).
