The South African stock exchange is moving out of the centre of Johannesburg after one hundred years.

The acting president of the exchange, Daan Grobler, said security was one of the main considerations.

Johannesburg is one of the most violent cities in the world.

The exchange will be relocated in the northern suburbs, where many of South Africa's large financial institutions have already gone.
