Cuban leader says a second Salvadorean man has been arrested acused of planning violent activites


President Fidel Castro has confirmed Cuba is holding a man in prison from El Salvador accused of planning terrorist activities to destabilise Cuba.

The man, Otto Rene Rodriguez, was arrested in June whilst allegedly bringing explosives thorugh Havana airport; he is due to be tried shortly.

Last year another Salvadorean man, Raul Ernesto Cruz Leon, was arrested in Cuba.

He is accused of planting bombs in Havana hotels.
