Tokyo market report

Shares closed broadly higher on renewed futures-led buying.
The Nikkei 225 closed up 152.65 points at 13,668.72, off a high of 13,727.02 and a low of 13,432.10.
Activity was very light, with many investors waiting for the release of more corporate earnings.
An estimated 290m shares were traded.
There were 556 gaining issues and 507 decliners.
The Topix index closed up 8.49 at 1,037.10 and the Nikkei 300 index was 2.30 points higher at 205.76.
