Doctors say King Hussein responding positively to cancer treatment

Doctors treating King Hussein of Jordan for cancer at a clinic in the United States say he is responding positively to chemotherapy and is in excellent spirits.

In a statement, the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota said the King's course of treatment for lymph gland cancer was almost complete, and could be finished by mid-November.

The sixty-two year-old King interrupted his chemotherapy to help mediate in last week's Middle East peace accord between Israel and the Palestinians.
