TO FOLLOW UN AIDS The UN report highlights Botswana as one country in sub-Saharan Africa where life expectancy could drop by twenty years.
The head of the UN's Population Division, Joseph Chamie, estimates that one in four people there have the HIV virus.
He said the continuing spread of the HIV virus through Africa will have a devastating effect on life expectancy, with many more deaths than previously forecast.
