The British former minister, Ron Davies, who abruptly resigned his Cabinet post on Tuesday, is coming under increasing pressure to give up his other job, as leader of the Labour Party in Wales.
He was the Secretary of State for Wales in the Cabinet and, because of his top position in the Welsh Labour Party, was likely to become Chief Minister in the Welsh Assembly, when it comes into being next year.
Mr Davies admitted that he befriended a male stranger in a London park at midnight and said he'd been very foolish.
But he insisted that neither sex nor drugs were involved.
