A pencil sketch by Adolf Hitler, drawn in 1908, has been sold at auction in Lincolnshire for slightly more than ten-thousand dollars £6,500.
The successful bidder, a local businessman said he was buying the work as an investment.
It had been expected to reach about seven-thousand dollars.
The work, a village scene, had been the property of a Lincolnshire collector for many years and was one of several by the young Hitler when he was trying, without success, to be accepted as a painter by the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts.
