Lebanese civilians wounded by Israeli bomb

Lebanese police say two civilians were seriously wounded when an Israeli bomb they found in a field exploded.

The bomb was discovered while the two were walking in Shaqra, at the edge of the Israeli-occupied border zone of south Lebanon.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese authorities are investigating an attack by gunmen in which two policemen were shot dead on Saturday night in Sidon. The attack took place on the central square where the two men were directing traffic.

It was the second attack of this kind against the security forces this month.

No one has claimed responsibility for the shootings.
