Morning adjournment debates on the future of Cyprus, social, environmental and animal welfare issues and the World Trade Organisation, cuts in the Territorial Army, pay-per-view television broadcasting, and the impact of regulation on British agriculture.

Questions to Northern Ireland Secretary Mo Mowlam.

Prime Minister's Question Time.

Labour MP Karen Buck introduces a 10-minute rule bill to ban prostitutes' advertisements from public telephone kiosks.

There will then follow a debate, without a vote, on the army.

Committees

The culture, media and sport committee discusses the Heritage Lottery Fund. Representatives from the Museums and Galleries Commission, the Museums Association, the National Art Collections Fund give evidence.

The education and employment committee takes evidence on the work of the schools inspector, Ofsted.

The social security committee takes evidence from Treasury officials on the subject of tax and benefits.

Lords

The broadcaster Melvyn Bragg takes his seat in the House of Lords.

Debate on the report stage of the Scotland Bill.


Non-parliamentary

The first full day of the visit of Argentina's President Carlos Menem. Attends wreath-laying at reconciliation service at St Paul's Cathedral, with veterans from both sides of the Falklands conflict, then lunch with the Queen at Buckingham Palace and a keynote speech at Lancaster House.
