Cambodia hosts landmine conference

Cambodia is hosting an international conference, opening today Monday, on landmine clearance and help for victims.

More than thirty countries are taking part, many of them badly affected by landmines.

Cambodia has an estimated five million mines still in the ground; it's one of the worst affected countries, and has a large percentage of amputees among its population.

But it has made progress in tackling mine clearance, educating people about the dangers of mines, and helping victims.
